Just noticed out the window that the days are getting longer at 5:30 pm the darkness of the night had arrived but tonight at 5:50 pm its still light here in Niota, Tennessee
It seems that the daylight is lasting much longer than just last week

Christmas Dinner at Waffle House

There was just no where else open on
Christmas Day except waffle house and
we really liked it

gone all day yesterday

we left early in the morning and went to cartersville to kim's and from there we rode with kim to douglasville where keri was having a christmas eve get together
we left just before they attended a christmas eve worship service at their church
went back to kims opened some presents and returned to tn last night
just a quick trip to be with our daughters for christmas
today on christmas we are going out to eat

they are just standing around waiting for Christmas it is really cold out today the low was in the teens and now it is only going to high thirties thats cold only 4 days till christmas and we are staying home and going to ga the next week

it has been raining all week and finally quit today but is still warm to turn cold by next week but no snow is in the forcast       There has been no other calls from u know who about a ice storm on the way

These leaves are now all on the ground and no longer this pretty
It is dark and dreary now with no green grass and the only bright spot are the Christmas Trees that are starting to show up everywhere
Ours and at least 4 more near by have shown up this week

the cat is gone

today he went to 145 to bury the cat she had a long and great life but died last night
and was buried today by lwk

This is completed now it took a lot of work and very much labor for the old man and the kid
The weather had taken a turn for the worst it is going down to the 20's every night this week

The Snow was a very little almost a no show (snow)
It is so cold it is awful to go outside
and it is susposed to be cold all week with the 20's for lows
we need more summer for sure

they need to put the air conditioner back on top and 

8 foot trim to put on the front of the mh as it came with none there but it needs one to keep the roof in place that was just put up

Sunday they did the rubber roof and i hope it stays warm enough for it to dry
It was a very difficult job for lwk as he feels younger than he really is
there are a few things left to do but that was the hardest part of the entire project

paw paw and Avery did screws in the top this morning and are planning to do the rubber tomorrow and that is scary for sure

the ear cleaning

on oct 17,2008 went to dr with ear problems and he wanted to clean the wax out and i said i will do it
after a month of no success getting it out i got an appointment today for the cleaning and now i can hear so much better he also prescribed drops as one ear was real red
Kim David Avery and Austin are on the way up to spend tomorrow here
David now has Friday's off
Avery is going to help paw paw with the roof on the mh
so it should be a very busy week next week
we are having chili for dinner made by Larry

today lwk worked on the mh brave and made the air conditioner loose to remove for roof
this is the first time he worked on it since it has been in the driveway

maybe he will get more done when avery gets here this week

a week has gone by and brave is still just sitting there waiting for its roof
avery is going to be here in a week maybe something will go on with the brave then

sunday november 2, 2008 we went

to church and afterward we drove the truck north and traded it for the 1992 brave
now today lwk is working on a roof for it
first thought rubber now thinking tin as many people are very unhappy with their rubber roofs

the heater light

he mentioned it again today

winter is on the way and we don't want anything to freeze up this year

well i guess the arguement is on hold till he decides to call his mother or she calls here or he decides to get the kitty litter and go to etowah with it till then we are being nice to each other

well she called this morning and the fighting has begun he told me that he would tell her to call a serviceman to light that heater well now he says he only told me that to quiet me well that was a lie and that makes me made that he would just lie to me

this is the second time that this bush has bloomed this year they are so pretty brugmansia

today is thursday 9-11-2008 it has been 7 years and we should never forget

 
On the phone trying to get more homeowners insurance quotes for this house as the company we got it with last year raised the price for a year 200.00 dollars and claimed that it was because we did not move our car insurance there and the first we heard about them having the car insurance was today when we finally reached them on the phone

she said something and was meaning something different

He went to light the heater sunday and she said it's still to warm
but there is a bunch of your trash in the basement and you need to get it out of here
he cleaned the entire time no heater was lite and the big mess was from the leaking air conditioner and from the mess the junk man had made when he went thru her stuff in the basement with her permission he just plundered thru the stuff and took what he wanted and left the rest in a mess he did not mop or anything
she can make those step she claimed that she could not make very well she is up and down all the time when he is there ordering him to do stuff for her they way she likes him to mind mind mind her
he has promised he will tell her to call a service man to light the stove as he went over just for that like she said she wanted him to do on the phone and the real reason was for the cleaning she had for him to do as she knew if she mentioned cleaning he would not come over for that

i have been on the phone with kim for 2 days she has been very depressed
her austin and david are coming up here tonight she is not going to the wedding and it is okay with avery he has been talking to her on the phone and emails amanda is upset about kim not attending but avery seems to be okay about it
its probably going to be october before we go to ga
dad has finished all the painting that he plans to do for now
i would like to get the bathroom done before winter
he go 2 gallons of the family room color so i guess the bathroom will be that color also
